2. What information we collect
Information you give us
When you complete the contact form on this website, we collect your name, work email address, company name, phone number, the service you are interested in, your budget range, your project description, and any file you attach.
Attachments may contain information about your business or your own users. We ask that you do not send special categories of personal data (health, biometric, or similar) through this form.
When you book a call, the booking is handled by Calendly, which collects your name, email address and the time you select.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the site we receive your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location derived from the IP address. This is collected through Google Analytics — see section 5.
Information from our work with you
If we start a project together, we process the contact details of the people we work with, and whatever access credentials or systems you provide to us. This is covered by our contract with you rather than by this website policy.
3. Why we collect it, and on what basis
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
To deliver services we have agreed. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
To understand how the website is used and improve it. Legal basis: consent, given through the cookie banner.
To meet legal and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
To send occasional updates about our work, if you asked for them. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
We use the following providers, who process data on our behalf. All of them are based in the United States:
Vercel Inc. — hosting of this website
Railway Corp. — content management and media storage
Google LLC — website analytics (Google Analytics)
Google LLC — email (Google Workspace), where enquiries arrive
Calendly LLC — scheduling calls booked through this site
Slack Technologies, Inc. (Salesforce) — internal notification of new enquiries
Each of these is bound by a data processing agreement. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
5. Cookies and analytics
The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it — which pages are opened, how long people stay, and where they arrive from. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device.

Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this website.
One cookie is set without consent, as the law permits for strictly necessary purposes:
cookie_consent — records the choice you made in the cookie banner, so you are not asked again. Stored for 12 months.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the browser add-on Google provides at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6. International transfers
Our providers listed in section 4 are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on an adequacy decision where one applies.
7. How long we keep it
Contact form enquiries that do not lead to a project — 12 months from our last contact with you
Attachments sent through the form — 12 months, together with the enquiry they came with
Records relating to clients and projects — for the duration of the contract and 3 years afterwards, in line with the record-keeping period required by Ukrainian tax law
Analytics data — 14 months, the retention period configured in Google Analytics
8. How we protect it
Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to reply. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Where we work inside a client's own environment, we use the accounts and access levels that client provides, and we do not copy their data into our own systems unless the contract says otherwise.
No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data and is likely to present a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within the timeframes the law requires.
9. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:
ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
have inaccurate data corrected
have your data deleted
ask us to restrict how we use it
object to processing based on our legitimate interests
receive your data in a portable format
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already took place
complain to a data protection authority in your country
To exercise any of these, write to andriy@fixit-soft.com. We reply within one month.
10. Children
This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the services we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be announced on this page.
